To Do Week Before Professional Real Estate Photography

13 Dec 2017

I’ve written before about how I, as a professional real estate photographer,  can increase the value of your home with professional real estate photography in Tampa and other areas, but today I want to give you some tips on things you should do a week before your real estate listing photos.

Landscape for Real Estate Photography

Having great curb appeal can increase home value, and you want that to come across in your listing photos, because they are the first impression many will get of your property. In addition to mowing the lawn, you’ll want to weed flower beds, add fresh mulch,  and add seasonal plants and flowers.  If you have a pool, you’ll want to clean it.  Go the extra mile, and pressure wash the house, driveways, walkways, patios, and decks. Then, wash the exterior windows and the front porch.

Clean Indoors for Real Estate Listing Photos

Prepare the inside of your house for realty photos by giving it a thorough deep clean. Start by removing clutter and personal items in all rooms. Replace any non-functioning light bulbs. Be sure to include windows and walls in your deep cleaning session.

Following these tips will help make sure you get the most out of your real estate photography investment. You’ll want to further prepare by reading my blog post about what to do the day of real estate listing photo sessions . Click here to book your tampa real estate photography session now.
